A crossroads between Italy and Spain since ancient times, Provence was influenced by their culture, but over the centuries it has shown its French uniqueness. It was my great pleasure to talk about this region, which I have discovered during my long sojourns, and to explore with the friends of the Ecali Club its gorgeous landscapes that have enchanted its international lovers.

We wandered the famous resorts of the Côte d'Azur; we crossed spectacular gorges and beautiful meadows with lavender plantations; I narrated stories about châtelaines and troubadours; we enjoyed the fine art of living, the delight of its refined cuisine, the traditions of its inhabitants; and we were marvelled by the ivy-covered façades to the way in which the houses cascade down the hill-villages, images straight from a fairy tale. Everything emerging from this unique Provençal style!
